This Is the Endgame

Nothing Obama does polls well. Camelot is already dying. Its structural flaw was a bigamous marriage. This story has nothing to do with weakening or ‘weakened’. Both GS and our country are already weak. Why else would we elect a trophy wife president? Why would we assign brilliant minds to political and economic treachery? It was a sham from the start: Obama and GS; Obama and America. Now, the trophy wife wants out, leaving both grooms high and dry. The wife always gets the children.

Our leadership has become so corrupt, it calls our friends “enemies” and our enemies “friends”. Don’t think the world hasn’t noticed. We’re being attacked from all sides. The axis of evil is operating at full steam. They know this is the endgame.

Now, the race is on as to who can strike the final blow. Who can be clever enough to snatch the Rocky Mountain oysters? Obama is just one of any number of matadors competing for the prize. He is the knife slowly twisting inside the doomed animal’s heart.

The nations of the world are already scrambling to form new alliances. They look to align themselves with raw power. ‘Social Justice’ no longer counts for much, and neither does ‘global warming’, environmental concerns, racial and gender equality, or any of the multitude of cuts and bruises liberals have managed to inflict on the now stumbling creature’s back.

The crowd cheers. They are witnessing a spectacle that in any civilized society should be banned. Just goes to show what lies ahead.

Random Thoughts

Good (bad) things come in threes. First there was the Deepwater Horizon oil platform explosion and subsequent collapse; then came the (failed) Times Square bombing. Question: Can we expect one or two more such incidents?

“Man caused disaster” - If not “man caused”, what is it? Accidental? Act of God? (Sorry!) What is the meaning of “man caused” accident? The accidental president. Just asking.

Is the fact that nothing serious has happened thus far since Obama has been in office - excepting of course the Deepwater Horizon overseas contingency - testimony to Obama's overall competence? Or has he been (accidentally) lucky? We all know that Bush failed us as president, having neglected to prevent not only the most serious man made contingency operation on the U.S. homeland since Pearl Harbor but also meteorologically generated conspiracies specifically directed at the hapless inhabitants of the Gulf coast.

Declare the Wearing of Glasses a Crime

You can always count on Bill Maher to say something stupid. His appeal (if it is that) is not in what he says; it is in how he says it. Also, never forget that one of the reasons ‘W’ ran into so much trouble politically was because many of his supporters thought he was not conservative enough. In other words, that he caved in too much to Democrats.

The Left's complaint about POTUS is just that. They feel he has not been radical enough. He has allowed talk radio to dominate the narrative; he has bailed out the rich and famous on Wall Street; he has not closed Gitmo; he has continued Bush’s wars; etc. The hard core Left in this country is basically a destructive and vengeful force. They’d likely see happen what Pol Pot did in Cambodia: clear out the cities and drive people out into the countryside; erase any vestige of human history; declare the wearing of glasses a crime (for it means that one might be inclined to read books). They shun education, technology, art and free individual expression in general. To the extent that Obama has failed in this, they proclaim him a failure and he, who is essentially of a similar mindset, recognizes his shortcomings.

Mention that the Democrat party also does not speak with one voice, though it may seem so. What is clear is that the extreme left wing is calling the shots, while the moderates are being shunted out. It’s the same with Republicans. This makes for fascinating drama. Left and Right politics are irreconcilable – because they are essentially one and the same. With the middle forcibly hollowed out, the shell is bound to collapse.

For now it makes for good political talking points to blame Big Oil. It’s quite superfluous to dig for the truth behind the explosion. We might actually have to face the fact that there are people out there who despite our good (communist) intentions are determined to bring us to our knees – which is actually quite alright with the Pol Pots among us who envision Utopia as an endless system of gulags.

Were We Attacked?

I couldn’t sleep last night. It wasn’t the red fox screeching outside my open window; it wasn’t my lumpy bed; it wasn’t the extra cup of Brazilian coffee I had after dinner.

You keep saying “accident”. How do you know the Deepwater Horizon platform explosion and its subsequent collapse two days before the world was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day was an accident?

Nobody could claim that 9/11 was an ‘accident’. There were too many witnesses. But everything done since has been to assign ultimate blame to America. Then there was what was widely suspected as the torpedoing of the South Korean naval vessel by North Korea a month ago. If true, this was clearly an act of war, but nobody’s talking. Why? Because chivalry demands a suitable response to an act of aggression and no one is currently in the position to respond to an act of war given the multitude of other concerns nations in general are facing. Bin Laden himself said that he based his murderous campaign against the West on his belief that the West would not respond effectively to the challenge.

Better to sweep this sort of thing under a rug and pretend it didn’t happen. Worry about nickel and dime economies, tea parties, and who’s sleeping with whom…

Just in case nobody’s noticed, the axis of evil has expanded to our own hemisphere since Obama has been in power. Venezuela, for instance, has been palling around with the likes of Russia, Iran, North Korea and Zimbabwe. Notwithstanding the North Korean MO of torpedoing ‘enemy’ ships and now possibly oil rigs, these rogue nations have been paying attention. They’ve seen that we will not retaliate no matter what happens. We’ll try to get away by proposing media lynchings based on Sarah Palin’s sock drawer …and ‘accidents’. The American media/government complex will happily go along with it. Besides, it fits in neatly with their anti-war, anti-oil (energy) Marxist agenda. The public has been suitably trained to immediately assume ‘accident’. Did Obama give it away when mentioning sending in S.W.A.T. teams?

The reason I couldn’t sleep was because I kept wondering: Were we attacked?

Plan B

As we struggle with the technical aspects of capping the oil spewing from the collapsed rig in the Gulf of Mexico, we can be quite certain there are those working equally hard to exploit this disaster in order to advance their own political agendas. "You don't ever want a crisis to go to waste…”

After the collapse of the science that propped up the ‘global warming’hoax, this crisis in the Gulf represents Plan B for those who would at any cost seek to throttle down America’s economic engines and thrust her back into the stone age. How convenient for them, this high profile (clearly man-made) ecological mishap – almost God-sent; a black swan. Eyjafjallajokull, we never knew ya!

Where will the White House make its stand? We think we already know, especially if and when it were discovered that it was no less a personage than George W. Bush who donned scuba gear and personally set the explosives. As for now, it’s still BP’s fault (bad enough) and, by extension, Big Oil’s (even worse) – and, of course, America’s in general (horror of all horrors), for its insatiable energy appetites. Almost effortlessly, we’ve automatically tilted back in favor of our flat earth, no-growth argument.

We dutifully sit and debate the fine points of every issue. The points pulverize into the dust of a zillion minutiae as we continue to analyze endlessly. And before we can throw up our hands in frustration, a new crisis appears out of no where, complete with streamers bearing insult and hostility (which we do our best to counter).

The members of Congress sign their good names to bills they haven’t yet read. When they are asked to explain any given point, we find they are as confused as we are. All they know is that they’re fighting for their lives – as we are.

Mr. Smith’s stint in Washington is no longer fun or productive. Something alien seems to have taken hold of the city. Something’s been added, or something taken away. Something is missing. The newspapers seem to be in on it, but they won’t discuss it: the elephant in the room. There’s plenty of detail to fill their pages – screaming drama from all sides.

It’s classic Cloward-Piven: overwhelm the system; orchestrate crisis; gridlock. No way to get a handle on it. And even if we could, we would be appalled at what we’d find.

It’s time to stop playing. Every move we make (in good faith) sucks us deeper into the sinkhole. That’s how it was designed. The house always wins.

What’s missing is trust. Face it! We don’t trust our government. Anything it might intend has now become tainted with suspicion. It could fix health care; Wall Street; immigration; energy; education – whatever your pet peeve might be – and we wouldn’t trust it as far as we could throw the heads on Mt. Rushmore. We’ve gotten to the point where things can’t be fixed anymore. Everything needs to be replaced. We need to start from scratch.

Politically, we feel cornered - shut out. At the same time we sense danger in the pit of our stomachs. We’re even prepared to forego summer and sprint straight to November, only to discover, perhaps, that our faith in elections will be the last domino to fall.

What then? Move to Australia? Cuba? This dilemma is by no means new. It has been faced by countless peoples before us. Their dream destination was always America. And they came in droves, bringing all they could carry on their backs and in their hearts. America allowed them to make a fresh start. Eventually they would become Americans and prosper beyond their wildest dreams. But that was then…

It’s different now. America has become just like every other hell hole in the world. No need to bother packing.

Ban Wall Street?

I don’t think it’s a joke. Betting long; betting short; what’s the difference? It’s still betting. Sometimes you win; sometimes you lose. The smartest players among us understand risk management; dollar cost averaging, diversification. Sure bets are only apparent in hindsight. There are too many factors to consider.

The real issue is ‘winning’ – or the flipside: ‘losing’. Should we now ban Wall Street; risk; speculation? Should we now ban profit; value – capitalism in general? Should we ban elections?

The biggest fraud ever perpetuated on the American people has been the election of Barack Hussein Obama. Should we now hold hearings? Or should we just accept that we rolled the dice and lost? Should we let it play out? Or should we huff and puff; and point the finger of blame; scrunch up our faces and hold innocents responsible for having followed a hunch; berate them with foul language and rhetorical flourish?

Have we lost the capacity to appreciate the pratfall? Should we deny ourselves the ecstatic release of guffaw - the freedom to bleed? Or will we allow ourselves to be wheeled around on rubber-tipped, stainless steel gurneys through endlessly gleaming hospital corridors and on to our liberally padded storage cubes?

Articles of Faith

Man-made ‘global warming’ has assumed the status of a state religion for many Americans. Michael Mann is one of its high priests; Al Gore is pope. It fills the need of some to identify some part of themselves with the eternal, which was dashed when TIME magazine announced that God was dead. The new religion comes complete with sins (littering); sacraments; (abortion); proselytizing; dietary rules; salvation and apocalypse. The key here is ‘man-made’. It links devotees directly with the godhead. As such, thousands of strictures are observed and rituals performed in the hope of mitigating the original sin of audacious existence. Non-believers are looked down on as heretics.

The rise of this religion has followed a well trodden path. Our educational system has been used to indoctrinate - much like the madrassahs of Pakistan and Yemen. There is a militant element that stems from the uncertainty arising from the fear of unmasking. For the moment, believers can take comfort in the knowledge that their president is one of them – as it should be. It is they who installed him to the highest office in the land.

Obama too is a disciple. He represents the religion’s political arm. As long as he holds on to political power they are safe. The fact that ‘global warming’ has been exposed as a hoax holds no sway. Many books have been written questioning the authenticity of the historical Jesus. Still, Christians believe and will continue to do so.

‘Global warming’ devotees do not necessarily delude themselves even if it were to come out that every scrap of science supporting it is proven false. They have put aside reason. For them it’s an article of faith; a shorthand for the human condition as they perceive it. They believe in the fallen man for whom there can be no redemption. They believe in the apocalypse in which all is destroyed – unless they can convince (or force) the others (those who were not chosen) to adopt what they deem as right.

The earth is their God. Their leaders are priests. Should any one of these be shamed or in any way diminished by infidels, they will run and sharpen their knives. Should one of their oracles be killed, it will be said he was martyred.

The rank and file is not the problem. They are delusional and weak. It is those who use them to fulfill their own tyrannical ambitions; those who send them out on crusades and suicide missions who must be closely watched.

‘Global warming’ is here to stay. So far, it has defied the separation of church and state. So far, its growth has been spurred without raising suspicion. The danger to the rest of us should have become apparent by the reluctance to let it pass; to give it up; to persist as if the University of East Anglia e-mails had never been made public. Even now, the U.S. government is pursuing cap and trade legislation. Something else is behind it. Too much has been invested in this hoax to stop it dead in its tracks. And yet, it’s only a part of a far greater hoax (that started with Marx), one more attuned to human greed and the lazy desire to control everything.
