My response to Obama's copious hard-Left connections...

The exposé above should scare any red-blooded American – but it won’t. The Left is so entrenched in American politics and media culture, leftist lies and propaganda no longer even raise eyebrows. The failure of capitalism has put it on par with socialism in most people’s minds. Gone is the nuance that the legitimate functioning of capitalism was deliberately damaged by socialist subterfuge. Gone, also, is the memory of socialism’s abject failure everywhere it’s been tried. At the same time, a massive anti-capitalist campaign has been underway for some time to undermine every pillar of what we’ve come to accept as civil order: national sovereignty, law, democracy, morality, religion, bosses, private property, family, etc.

A review by Brian C. Anderson of just the latest in a series of Marxist apologia, “Commonwealth” by Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri in today’s WSJ closes with the following: “’Commonwealth’ is a dark, evil book, and it is troubling that it appears under the prestigious imprimatur of ‘Harvard University Press’. Countless millions were slaughtered by the adherents of Karl Marx in the 20th century. God help us if the scourge returns in the 21st.”

To paint a visual representation of the ecstasy that the hard Left is ultimately aiming at, picture a mass of naked, drugged-out bodies writhing in unison to the strains of ‘The Grateful Dead’ on the floor of some slummy abode in Haight-Ashbury back in the 60’s. No thought is given to who, or which human orifice is violated – male, female; it’s all the same – the point of which amounts to nothing less than the total annihilation of the dignity we commonly ascribe to identity. ...kinda puts you in mind of the '72 virgins' fantasy the Islamists have. Doesn't it?
